Where is my tiny puppy?

On Saturday Beryl had to change collars. The small one was on the last using hole so time to move on! Did she bother? Didn't even notice.
She has learnt all her basics so quickly and walks on the pavement so nicely already. My job will be to keep it that way.
Perfect puppy? There is always a but!!  And in this case her toilet training has a flaw. She still, about once a day just goes in the utility room. We are usually right behind her to let her to let her out but in time to get a warm puddle or worse!  This is an odd problem because all the other times she stands looking over her shoulder to let us know. She even heads to her area if out already. Never busied on her walks, or when out for coffee. We will just keep working at it while it keeps the kitchen roll companies in business!

Enjoying the sun with her blanket.

Progress

Beryl reached 12 weeks at the weekend so its the start, in my head anyway, of my puppy moving out of the first stage. She had her first primary injection so another 4 weeks to second and then less worry about clean pavements and other dogs. Over the last few days we have also changed onto 3 meals per day
Before you all think this is easy I will mention Monday!  Anybody want a pair of jeans pre holed? I think I am too old to get off with that look. Beryl decided to be a real madam on Monday afternoon. No idea why as she wasn't hungry, not needing the toilet, not too hot or cold or not exercised in the morning. She went on a mental turn snapping and going at me for all she was worth. By the time my husband arrived I was quite glad to hand her over for a while. Did she bite and snap at him? Oh No!
Tuesday back to normal!!!  Now what to do with holey jeans??

A Busy Week

Last weekend my younger son came to visit from London for a few nights. Was it to see me for Mothers day? Of course not he was up to see Beryl. We had a lovely weekend and Beryl had a great new playmate!!
This week she has been out for coffee, lunch and managed a little shopping all fitted in between her 4 meals - which are now being cut back to 3. She was also out to visit prospective PW's with our supervisor. I didn't say they are not all like her as she lay quietly, busied on command then trotted off on a short walk!
Today we went down to the harbour to see the waves coming in. Funnily enough no dolphins today. It was bitterly cold so I think we were both enjoying our cuddle. She still likes a carry but at 7.8kg the
time is nearing an end.

And only 3 photos while out this week by strangers!

Too much weather

Poor Beryl is a wee softie when it comes to cold and wet weather, well wet anyway. The snow started melting quickly and then the rain came on top. This led to a very soggy and flooded garden although luckily the toilet remained dry. She asked out only to turn around when the door got opened and the rain was coming down in front of her nose. Not only that by mid afternoon she would have had to paddle so you can guess we were back to carrying. And she is definitely a lot heavier now!
Today the sun is shining! Water now drained away so back to almost normal.  Every cloud has a silver lining as she is now grabbing at twigs and leaves again so maybe the snow wasn't that bad.

And only 9 weeks old!

Can't believe she does this already. She is out and on her way back before I change my shoes!!!
