Shetland Ferry

We are lucky in Aberdeen that we get invited onboard the ferry to Shetland for training. It is new surfaces and a variety of stairs including a very steep set. Beryl coped very well until she had a wee accident. That was rather unexpected!!  We all finished off with a cup of tea in the ships restaurant. So civilised.

The New Road

Aberdeen is getting a new Western Peripheral Route (bypass) which should have been opened but now the date is November. They decided on having an open weekend where you could walk on a short stretch and they had some fun activities as well as information about it etc. Anyway we decided to go. This meant a short drive to get on a bus as you were not allowed to walk or drive there.
Beryl, as usual was quite happy having a wee outing and other than beside the food vans walked beautifully. I got an ice cream so I was happy too!
We had been away quite a while so Beryl, before getting back on the shuttle bus, so Beryl had a drink and a busy (yes at the edge of this very expensive new road!)before we hopped back on the next shuttle bus.
