Season's Greetings

That took on a whole new meaning in our household as Beryl came into season on the day the Xmas tree went up. It was a beautiful tree but as its on a new cream carpet I haven't been in that room to see it much! That has meant all the family visitors have been crammed into the family room and kitchen and Xmas lunch was at a table surrounded by towels. Xmas with a difference!!

Beryl also became ONE on Xmas Eve. Her party was much smaller due to her condition which did make her very quiet and I suspect not feeling very good. She still managed to enjoy her dog food cake although no amount of training helped her blow out the candle.

She loved all her presents and the extra attention with all her relatives!

As we move towards NewYear Beryl is still not clear to go out yet but I have removed the towels. Maybe tomorrow she will completely stop dripping!

Happy New Year

11 months already

Having your puppy born on Xmas Eve is both very handy and a curse. As she turned 11 months you realise its only a month until Xmas!!!

Beryl is doing really well with some walks and shop trips excellent

(and some not so good). She continues to be a good girl at home although she does have a funny habit of suddenly disappearing upstairs. Since she is allowed its not a problem but I just don't know why.

She has been changed onto GI food due to being sick every 10days or so and that seems to have done the trick. Weird problem but she was never ill as such.

Season! What season? We just keep waiting and wondering when it will happen. The only sign of more hormones is the recall when free running is slightly slower (it couldn't have got any better) and she is willing to go further from me to meet another dog etc. As she is my first girl not sure this really means much but it gives some hope it might happen!

She has been a busy girl visiting companies for Xmas card sales and seems to enjoy all the attention. She still hasn't been asked to visit her sponsor company so not sure when that is going to happen.  Beryl loves free running and is now realising, sadly, that mud is ok to stand in. My poor towels.
Relaxing at home she loves Countryfile and For the love of dogs. A few others but not so keen on Dynasties with penguins!
