Beryl I am glad to say is now fully toilet trained. All I had to do was make her ask in the kitchen rather than the back door so no more accidents.
She has had a night away which I think was worse for me than her! I am now dreading our 2 week holiday in a couple of weeks. It was booked before I knew we were having a Beryl. I can easily not give human food, no chair sitting and all the other no's but leaving her I do struggle with. Lets be honest the others were never boarded!! This time I knew I had to do it so we are on countdown.
She continues to be a bright wee girl that learns quickly. She actually stopped at a kerb the other day. Whether she actually recognised a kerb or just my body language I don't know but she slowed and stopped before the command. She continues to be great when out for coffee or lunch despite far too many people just sticking their hands down to play with her. I really need a DO NOT TOUCH sign. Well I suppose she is gorgeous!
Photos today are of Beryl thinking she looked innocent! The sheep doorstop is just too tempting but I use it to teach her she can't have everything. After taking it back from her a couple of times she decided just to look cute beside it. She certainly keeps me smiling.
